The capital of Goa – Panjim is situated on the southern banks of the River Mandovi. Panaji officially became the capital of Goa in 1843.

Arambol 
Arambol is also known as Harmal. Located in north Goa, Arambol or Harmal situate at the distance of approximately 50 km from the capital of Goa – Panaji. The largest coastal village in district of Pernem is well-known for its natural serenity. Calm atmosphere and beautiful beaches are specialty of this village. Beaches of Arambol are also famous for their serenity because parties are generally not organized at these beaches which make it peaceful and pleasant and retain its charm. Entire Arambol seems to be a paradise.

Canacona 
Canacona is a taluka (district) situated at southern tip of Goa. The name Canacona is derived from the name Konkan. Canacona was included into Goa in 1794. Like other parts of Goa, the culture of Canacona is also influenced by Portuguese culture. Today, Canacona is also a famous tourist destination in Goa, India. The district of Canacona is famous for its lovely beaches and thrilling wildlife sanctuaries.
Some major tourist attractions of Canacona are Catigao wildlife sanctuary – the second largest wildlife sanctuaries in the state, Shri Mallikarjun Temple – dedicated to Lord Mallikarjun (Shiva), Pololem Beach, Cavelosim Beach and Agonda Beach.
Margao 
Located in South Goa, Margao is the second largest city of Goa, India and it is 33 km from the capital of Goa – Panaji. It is the commercial city of Goa. Margao is famous for its old churches and beautiful houses decorated with gloomy rosewood furniture and furnishings. Erstwhile this commercial town of Goa was the major religious centre of Hindus. It had dozens of wealthy temples. It had many Dharamshalas. In 17th century, most of these temples and Dharamshlas were destroyed by Portuguese.
The city of Margao is surrounded by some beautiful villages and climate of this town is very good. Margao is laced with good accommodation for the connivance of the tourists. Vasco-da-Gama
About 29 km by road southwest of Panjim and about 25 km from Margao city, Vasco-da-Gama is one of the industrial and commercial cities of Goa. Vasco-da-Gama sits on the tip of Marmagoa cape, overlooking the Zuari River. Vasco-da-Gama is the largest city in the state of Goa, India.
Some major attractions of Vasco-da-Gama are Pilot Point at Headland Sada, Baina Beach, Japanese Garden, Bogmalo Beach, the Sada Fort, the Naval Aviation Museum and many others.
